PASADENA, CA, September 20, 2003 /PRNewswire/ --
Chase Computing International, a leading provider of high quality, cost-effective, and efficient software solutions and services, has announced the renewal of the Science Data and System Implementation and Operations (SDSIO) contract with the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and Raytheon ITSS. This renewal will maintain Chase’s partnership of building and operating scientific data systems that will process, manage, distribute, and archive data from JPL-led Earth and Space Science Missions. Chase Computing will continue to serve as Raytheon’s subcontractor to provide IT programming services for JPL’s Deep Space Mission System (DSMS) Configuration Management (CM) group.
The initial five-year SDSIO contract began in September 1998, marking the beginning of an innovative relationship with JPL and Raytheon ITSS, both located in Pasadena, California, and Chase Computing, located in Alhambra, California. The renewed contract‘s duration is set for three years, with an option for a subsequent three years.
The contract renewal was the direct result of five years of unparalleled service and dedication. Emily A. Greene, Raytheon Manager of Science Systems and Analysis, believes that Chase played a crucial role in the SDSIO renewal. Greene noted that “Chase Computing consistently exceeded client expectations by designing and building systems that would go beyond customer requirements. By thinking outside the box and truly understanding the needs of the customer, Chase has established a strong track record of delivering innovative systems that maximize efficiency and results.”
Chase’s President, James Lin, understands that technology and automation offer tremendous advantages that the client may not always fully appreciate. Lin remarked, “Chase’s role as both system architect and designer requires a deep understanding of a client’s work-flow process with all its major risk areas. In this way, Chase can help guide the client to finding the most effective and efficient solutions.”
